Thank you for taking the time and effort to join Ask Doctor Love as a member.
We only just launched the ability to add comments to posts in August, so if there are not many existing comments among the over 2500 columns, that is to be expected.

If you subscribe to the “Advice Column-of-the-Week”, you’ll get a copy of the latest question and answer by email, and that can be a prompt for you to add comments.
When I decide to answer a question, I invite the person asking to become a site member so that he or she may read the comments received by our members and perhaps respond. At any rate, everyone else who has joined will also read your comments, so it will become a “live” conversation.
That said, if you wish to comment on an older column, please go ahead. The person who asked the question may never see it, but others will.
Again, welcome to my site!
