I guess my question is pretty simple. It tends to happen during sex. I will really be in the mood and everything is going fine during intercourse and then I just loose my erection. It just goes away.I don’t know if I just loose my concentration or just loose the mood. Everything feels great until that point and then were both laying there especially myself tense and frustrated not knowing what to do. Then all I can do is say I’m sorry and make sure she is o. k. It doesn’t happen all that often. It did during the begining of our relationship and then went away for awhile. Now its starting to happen (10 months later) again and it kills me that I can’t make love to her.All I can do is lay there and say I’m sorry and pretend it doesn’t bother me. It does and I know its starting to bother her. Thanks for your advice.
This is not an unusual problem at all. You see, the sensations that a man experiences in intercourse are much softer than manual stimulation. And, I think what is happening for you is this. When you are having intercourse and you feel that you aren’t mounting–no pun intended–toward orgasm, you start to become worried or upset. Then, you lose your erection. The next time you are having intercourse you are more worried than the last time, and, guess what, worry not only interferes with erection maintenance it also interferes with the arousal process. So, now you find it hard to get aroused enough to orgasm. So, here’s how we’re going to break the cycle. Explain to your girl that we need to go back to sex school to teach your penis a couple of things. First start by her masturbating you until you are close to orgasm, but not to the point that the orgasm has begun. Then, start intercourse at this point, you will find that the stimulation has been built up far enough that you will be able to orgasm. Each time you do this exercise, you can stop the manually stimulation earlier and earlier. Soon your body will know how to make the transition from one form of stimulation to another. Please write me again with an update.
