Me and my boyfriend have been together for a month and I am starting to think he might be a virgin for 2 reasons. 1) he asked me when i lost my virginity 2) he said he was ready to have sex with me within the first week we got together.I keep asking him is he one and he keeps on denying it and he knows I’m not not ready to have a sexual relationhip with him at this point. I just don’t know what to do. Any advice?
What you need to focus on is what you want. You said loud and clear that you aren’t ready for intercourse. Whether he’s a virgin or not, has no bearing on you and what you want. for yourself. The best thing to do is have an open talk with him and lay your cards on the table. Tell him that you aren’t ready. Then you can talk to him about your feelings about his pressing you for sex. You can tell him that you aren’t clear on what his hurry is (does he want to lose his virginity, is his sex drive is very strong, is he afraid to lose you if he doesn’t have sex with you soon).See if you can get him to own what his rush is all about, then see if you can come up with a way of being responsive to both of your needs. For example, if he’s dying with desire, you might be able to give him pleasure without having intercourse, which would give you the time that you need to wait until you’re ready for intercourse. The bottom line is talk, be honest with each other, and then arrive at an accommodation that respects both your needs and wishes as much as possible.
