Me and my boyfriend of seven months have a very active sex life. Next year he is going to join the marines which means he will be gone for maybe even a year at a time. I dont know if i’ll be able to handle the distance emotionally or physically. How do you think I should handle myself?

I think you’ve answered your own question! The best way to handle yourself is by using your hands and using them often (especially if you have a strong sex drive, which it sounds like you do).Seriously, distance is difficult to bear and so I hope that you two will be able to connect by letters, emails and by phone. What you need to do is outline for yourself what specifically you think will be difficult for you to handle.Talk with him about these areas of difficulty and come up with a plan to address each area of concern. If your love is strong, your relationship should be able to survive the distance.Good luck to you both.
