Why You Must Not Reminisce Over a Deceased Loved One

If you’re anything like I was in the early stages of my grief,  I bet you spend a good deal of time reminiscing over your loved one.

Maybe you pour over photo albums…

Or mentally replay memories…

Or even tell stories about that person.

Now I have a question for you.

Do these activities make you feel better?

The answer is…HELL, NO!

And, in fact, when we reminisce over a lost loved one, we miss that person even more!

The act of reminiscing is, in itself, an act that reminds us of what we once had and lost.

How on earth can reminding ourselves of all that we’ve lost make us feel better?

It can’t!

This week I had an illumination.

The word reminisce rhymes with miss!

And this is because when you reminisce you actually miss your loved ones even more.

This is because reminiscing is the same as saying, “So and so is gone…”

Now why on earth would we want to remind ourselves that our loved ones are gone when, in fact, those who leave their bodies aren’t gone at all!

They’ve just left their bodies!

Meanwhile, their soul essence lives on.

How do I know this?

In my number 1 international bestseller, Love Never Dies, I share my own amazing true story of my spiritual reconnection with my husband following his bodily departure from a bee sting.

His manifestations, to this day–often in front of witnesses, prove that the spirit lives on.

As Jean told me right after he left his body, “Jamie, death is an illusion. There is a very thin veil between the realm where you are and the realm where I am. The veil is thinner than you can ever imagine. I’m standing right here.”

Some time after hearing this, I discovered that Einstein said that energy cannot be destroyed.

In addition, modern quantum physics research has proven that 95% of our universe is comprised of dark matter or dark energy because this part of our universe doesn’t reflect light.

It’s now believed that when our loved ones leave their bodies, their soul essence–which is pure energy–enters the dark matter. This scientific explanation pretty much matches what Jean told me!

So why would we waste time reminiscing over past memories when our loved ones continue to live on in the dark matter?

It’s time to take Western grief therapy out of the dark ages!
